The two owners partnered with our studio to design a brand that captured the pure, grounded nature of their extraordinary work. We created a simple, classic mark that felt instantly recognizable—a symbol refined enough for a modern brand, yet warm enough to echo the typographic charm of an old-fashioned dry goods store. This balance became the heart of the Winter Rye identity.
Midwestern Charm
The packaging system extended the brand’s sensibility, pairing clean layouts with earthy textures and natural components. Each element was designed to feel tactile and grounded, mirroring the craftsmanship behind the pottery and textiles. The overall effect is understated, inviting, and beautifully restrained.

Using a combination of bold product imagery and rich Midwestern landscapes, the photography speaks to the excellence of the craft and the inspiration found in nature. The imagery creates a serene, expressive atmosphere that reflects the heart of Winter Rye.
